ANC Womens League fighting abuse

Women from our country and abroad have suffered abuse over the years both physical and emotional abuse and still in this day and age there are still hopefulls who are still victims ovvershadowed by this problem. In many cases we have heard and endured the pain of some women being abused by their spouses or even family members, this rape issue has gone so far to an extent that even yuong children are now victims. What has the world come to?

The recent incident of the young disabled Soweto girl who was raped by seven other young males has stirred controversy in the country. This has led to the ANC league women and many other women within society saying " Enough is Enough" as they have implemented ways of how society can deal with these matters, women in and around South Africa met at Soweto`s Diepkloof stadium to have a prayer about abuse, where Gauteng primier Nomvula Mokonyane blamed the media for such incidents "It is the things that the youth of our country are exposed to in television that leads them to explore. At this point in time we should not be pointing fingers at each other but rather work together as a nation to find ways that can curb the abuse of women.
